About this event
Simplifying Accreditation in Public Relations
Earning your APR can seem a bit daunting and even somewhat overwhelming—particularly in the mix of everything else busy PR pros are tasked with every day. However, thousands of practitioners across the U.S. have earned their Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and recognized the value it has brought to their work and growth in the profession. If you're interested in pursuing accreditation but aren't quite sure how to get started, this webinar will help you to identify:
- If accreditation is right for you right now
- The Universal Accreditation Board (UAB) recommends candidates have at least five years of professional experience in public relations before pursuing accreditation.
- How to start the accreditation process
- What to expect throughout the process, including timeline and associated costs
- Resources and mentorship support
Join the webinar on
April 15 from 12 to 1 p.m. CT to learn more and jump start your APR process. After the webinar, those interested in moving forward with accreditation will have the opportunity to join a Minnesota-based APR cohort for support and accountability, where you'll be paired with peers and an accredited mentor. This will be a great way to learn from an APR about their journey, the process, what to expect and best practices that will be instrumental in helping you earn your accreditation.
